Jaipur To Mount Abu From The Pink City To The Hill Resort

Popularly called The Pink City, Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan. This ancient city located in a semi arid land is the first ever planned city of India. According to Mythology, it was to Mount Abu that the great Sage Vasishta retired, following his differences with Sage Vishwamitra.

The distance from Jaipur to Mount Abu is around 475 km by road. It will take about 7 hours to cover this distance by road. As Mount Abu does not possess any rail head or airport, it is accessible only by road.

On reaching Abu road, one can hire a cab or board a bus to reach Mount Abu. This is the most fitting mode of travel while journeying with family or with elders and kids.

On the other hand, one can hire a taxi from Jaipur to Mount Abu. The fare would be to the upwards of INR ten thousand, depending upon the type of car preferred. This is the best option if one is not bound by any budgetary constraints. For the daring ones, driving from Jaipur to Mount Abu is also an exciting option to explore.
